n Montenegrin villages, families have preserved centuries-old traditions of producing their own food. Many seasonal foods are prepared with tried-and-true recipes to ensure preservation for winter months. Durmitor is known for excellent dairy products, such as Durmitor skorup (clotted cream), lamb meat, potatoes, and grains like barley and buckwheat. Guests can enjoy fresh ingredients from the gardens and even join in traditional cooking activities.
Apart from accommodation and food, rural areas offer opportunities for active leisure. Marked hiking and mountain biking trails start from the households, allowing you to explore Durmitor National Park.
