Piva Lake is the largest reservoir of fresh water in the Balkans! It is the biggest artificial lake in Montenegro, created by the construction of Hydro Power Plant "Piva" in 1976. It is 42 km long, and its greatest depth is about 180 meters. During the summer months, it is suitable for swimming, cruising and fishing, kayaking and canoeing.

CHURCH OF ST. JOHN THE BAPTIST ON ZAGRAĐE (XV CENTURY) AND SOKO GRAD FORTRESS
Zagrađe Monastery, a resurrected church in which liturgical life has returned, captivates with its unusual appearance and beauty. It is an endowment of Stefan Vukčić Kosača and was built in the first half of XV century, above the confluence of the Piva and Tara rivers.
Soko grad was located above Šćepan Polje, on the hill whose peak is 927 metres above the sea level. Although overgrown with weeds, the remains of the ramparts, towers and two carved stone benches are visible.
To the east of Soko grad on the hiking trail are stećci-medieval tombstones known as "stone sleepers" that entered the UNESCO World Heritage List.
THE PIVA MONASTERY (XVI CENTURY)
Do you know that the construction of the Piva monastery lasted for 13 years, the same as the duration of his displacement?
The Piva Monastery used to be at the source of the Sinjac River, but due to the construction of the Hydro Power Plant "Piva", it was relocated stone by stone, which was a unique construction project of monastery displacement altogether with the original frescoes.
The treasury of the Monastery is one of the richest in Montenegro and consists of precious collections of old manuscript books and the first books printed in the Balkans (the only preserved Psalter from the “Obod” Printing House).
MUSEUM -CASTLE OF DUKE LAZAR SOČICA
You should visit the Museum-Castle of Duke Lazar Sočica, a building that has become a symbol of the museum from a symbol of power. The museum is located in the village of Goransko, on a slight elevation, which the famous Serbian scientist and geographer Jovan Cvijić said this place was the place with the most beautiful view in the Balkans. At that time, the tower was the biggest in Piva and one of the largest and most beautiful in Montenegro. The rich historical heritage of Piva is at this place and, in addition to the historical setting, it also includes a naturalistic section, which represents a unique combination of man and nature.
MEMORIAL COMPLEX IN DOLA
15 kilometres away from Plužine, in the place called Dola, there is a memorial complex built in memory of the victims of this area from the Second World War.
ĐOKOVA LEDENICA CAVE

The well-known heart-shaped lake that symbolizes love is one of the most beautiful glacial lakes in the Balkans! Check it out why Trnovačko Lake has been visited so many times so far, although it takes 5-6 hours of hard walking from the direction of Mratinja village to get to it. During the summer months, it is suitable for swimming, camping and fishing. If you have already arrived at the lake, take the opportunity to conquer the surrounding peaks of Maglić and Volujak mountain massifs.
BIOČ – MAGLIĆ – VOLUJAK
People say that these mountains take your breath away and, according to many, they are considered to be the jewels of nature. Apart from their common and unexplored beauty, these mountains share Trnovačko Lake, which is hidden under their steep slopes. Bioč is the highest in this complex of mountains, and that epithet gives it the highest peak in the Nature Park "Piva"-Veliki Vitao (2397 m). Take the opportunity to conquer them. Make sure why it is!
STABANSKA LAKES
We recommend a visit to the glacial lakes, whose attractiveness is top ten, and they are about 20 kilometers away from the town. The trail leading to the lake is a medium-easy trail, suitable for both children and adults. The time required for the ascent is about 1 hour and 30 minutes. Stabanska lakes are wedged deep in the mountain under the high expanses of Bioč and are an ideal place for conquering the highest peak in Nature Park "Piva" (Veliki Vitao 2397m). On the way back, visit the waterfall on the river Vrbnica, a hidden place of unusual beauty.
